For students interested in business internships...
There
is no other way to put it; Internships are an invaluable addition to
your resume and experience. Personally, my internship was one of the
key reasons I was offered a job before graduation. The interviewer (now
my co-worker), told me in the interviewing process that my internship
was what set me apart and put me in as the lead candidate. Without my
internship I’m not sure where I would be or what I would be doing. The
best advice I can give is to take an internship when the opportunity
arises. You will never regret the time you put into it and the
knowledge you gain. A classroom only goes so far; real life experience
is as true an education as there is.
